Does my blog meet the approval requirements?
Your site must be a blog to be approved. So if your site is a blog there shouldn’t be a problem. However, we don’t take blogs which contain illegal content, site under construction pages, password protected blogs, spam blogs containing self-promoting links and blogs which contain very little content, not indexed or cached. The blogbank.org editor has the final decision on the approval or rejection of a submission.
How long does it take for approval?
We try to process submissions as soon as possible. Since we manually approve every blog submitted it can take time to process requests when we get many at once. Please be patient. If it’s been a while and you still aren’t seeing your blog contact us.
Do you require a link back?
When we started, we did not require a link back, however, spammers and the likes have made it difficult for us and so, we now require you to link back to the directory. Please ensure that your link back is present prior to your submission. While this does not guarantee your approval, it will give your blog extra points during the approval process-:).
